Banana Pancakes

What is the best way to start the day than feasting on delicious pancakes for breakfast? Banana pancake is a very simple recipe and perfect to use your ripe bananas!

For around 8 pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 125 g flour
  • 10 cL milk of your choice (soya, oat, almond,…)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Some oil

Recipe:

  1. Mash the bananas in a bowl (with a fork)
  2. Add the milk and mix  
  3. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until you have a slightly thick batter
  4. Heat a pan with some oil (medium heat)
  5. When it’s hot, pour in some batter (adjust the quantity depending on the thickness you want) and spread quickly to form a circle
  6. Leave to cook for a few minutes: when bubbles are forming on the pancake, flip it and let it cook a bit more
  7. Serve warm, with maple syrup, peanut butter, melted chocolate, jam,…

Tips: 

  • Depending on the thickness and texture you want, you can adjust the proportion of milk and flour
  • You can add vanilla sugar, cocoa powder, or cinnamon to the batter for extra taste!
